A Benefit for The Children's Hospital in Aurora, CO
THE 2010 24 HOURS OF HOCKEY WAS HELD ON SATURDAY, MAY 22nd and SUNDAY, MAY 23rd at The Edge Ice Arena in Littleton, Colorado. This year we raised nearly $30,000 for the hospital, bringing the four year total for the event to almost $145,000!
SPECIAL THANKS TO the Colorado Avalanche's starting goaltender, Craig Anderson, who spent time with us at the event and took a few shifts during the marathon. Craig is not only one of the best goaltenders in the NHL, but is one of the game's best ambassadors, and we very much appreciate the time and effort he put in to help make our event a huge success.
Also, special thanks to Christian Moreno, the hockey-playing ambassador from The Children's Hospital who played with us for an hour!
We would also like to thank previous participants from the NHL, including Ian Laperriere (seen in the picture to the right), Joel Kwiatkowski, Dan Hinote, Brad Larsen and Tony Granato.
