THE 2009 24 HOURS OF HOCKEY WAS A HUGE SUCCESS, WITH INITIAL ESTIMATES INDICATING MORE THAN $40,000 WAS RAISED FOR THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HYLAND HILLS JAGUARS FOR WINNING THE FIRST EVER 24 HOURS OF HOCKEY YOUTH CHALLENGE CUP!
Overview of the 2009 24 Hours of Hockey:
(1) A Welcome Reception is planned for the evening of Friday, May 29th from 6pm to 8pm.
This is open to the public and will include food, a silent auction, drawings for terrific prizes, a free family skate with ambassadors from The Children's Hospital and a youth stick and puck session with NHL players.

Family Skate with NHL Players including members of the Avalanche, Craig Anderson of the Florida Panthers, Joel Kwiatkowski of the 2009 IIHF silver medal-winning Team Canada and members of the Rocky Mountain Rage.
700-830pm
Youth stick and puck session with members of the Avalanche, Craig Anderson of the Florida Panthers, Joel Kwiatkowski of the 2009 IIHF silver medal-winning Team Canada and members of the Rocky Mountain Rage.

A donation to The Children's Hospital will give you the once in a lifetime opportunity of going one-on-one in a breakaway competiton with an NHL goaltender.
(2) A 16-hour adult hockey marathon kicks off at 9pm on Friday the 29th and concludes at 1pm the next day. Players in the marathon must raise a minimum of $500 in pledges.
Come by anytime to support your local adult hockey players as two teams of 15 skaters and 2 goalies will slug it out for 16 consecutive hours.
(3) The 24 Hours of Hockey Youth Challenge Cup will take place during the afternoon of Saturday, May 30th.
Two local hockey associations will match up against each other in a mini-tournament. The Hyland Hills Jaguars and Foothills Flyers will compete in the innagural Challenge Cup beginning at 130pm on Saturday.
